This sister is very knowledgeable about black history so much so she made it her Business. The bottons sponsor the quotes and image of very prominent black figures in the progression of black freedoms and history.

Drama and disappointment have always followed the Simms family, but with a pending community reconstruction project and unrivaled family crises, the foundation of the Simms family will forever be changed at The Wake.

About the Author

Kyle Berkley is a husband and father from Baltimore, Maryland. He completed his education in Baltimore City public schools, graduating from Frederick Douglass High School. Kyle then attended Coppin State College with a major in history and later continued his education at Sojourner Douglass College and Morgan State University, where he earned his Bachelor's and Master’s Degrees in Social Work. In 2020 Kyle defended his dissertation "Practitioners’ Perceptions of Medical Compliance Among Homeless Clients with HIV and a Mental Health Diagnosis" and earned his Ph.D. from Walden University.

Kyle has contributed so much as a RTV Core member but also as a good friend, a leader in the community and now as an author!
